CASA PROGRAM
Dr. Montessori observed that when children grow up in an environment that is warm, encouraging, and stimulating to the senses they will spontaneously explore, create, investigate and ask questions. Dr. Montessori believed that learning should be relaxed, comfortable and a natural process.

Kindergarten Program- Children who are five years of age are prepared for more sequential work in Language, Math, Geography, Art, and Science which necessitate longer blocks of time. Therefore, a full day program in the Montessori classroom is essential for this age group.
(Children enrolled in our Casa program should be able to independently use the toilet at an age appropriate level.)
“There are many things which no teacher can convey to a child of three, but a child of five can do it with the utmost ease. To understand what the older ones are doing fills the little ones with enthusiasm. There is a communication and a harmony between the two that one seldom finds between the adult and the small child.”
